"This old house..."

I now have a new appreciation for the show "this old house." We knew when we decided to buy an old Country home, we would have a lot of work to do. The first couple of days we found ourselves facing broken pipes, a broken water heater, and some other issues that we had not planned on. When we bought the house we knew we would have things to fix, but our first couple days were quite the adventure! Jason got the water hooked up to the house from the well. We were so excited to get the water hooked up and then we hear....gushing! Jason discovered that many of the pipes were broken because the prior owner did not winterize correctly....so luckily, I am married to a guy with many skills and he fixed the pipes and put in a new water heater. We decided to remodel the boys' room first because we want them to have a clean space and clean carpet to crawl and play on. Carpet is coming in about two weeks so we have a lot of work to do. I will show before and after pictures so you can see the difference. Here is a picture of Jason fixing the pipes in the bathroom ceiling. This room will be totally rennovated because there are many issues, but Jason was a trooper during this whole mess. Here is a pic of Jason fixing the ceiling and the pipes that were gushing water....
