Peace of mind....

In my last post, I was obviously distraught. The situation weighed heavily on my mind for a couple of days, and I knew I had to talk to the bishop about it. After seeking counsel from the bishop, I felt so much better and he told me that these types of situations might be in my path because Heavenly Father trusts me that I will do the right thing with the information. You see, the woman in the situation goes to the same church as I do. The Bishop reassured me that maybe I wasn't prompted to say anything because she had already made up her mind, and he encouraged me to let it go. He told me that there was nothing I probably could of said to change her mind. (He obviously knows more about the situation). So I have let it go. It felt like a ton of bricks were taken off my shoulders and I am so glad I sought counsel from my bishop....As for the woman, I still pray for her that she will make better choices for the sake of her family. If anything, this situation made me really think about how we need to protect our families more than ever, and never take them for granted.
