Christmas
This year Christmas came and went way too fast!
We definitely had a white Christmas this year, and it was beautiful. Max had fun playing in it and went sledding almost everyday during his winter break. He asked Santa for a sled with a steering wheel and was so excited to see it Christmas morning. He also got some games that he wanted and loved them. Eli received a little ELefun toy that makes balls pop up with air, and he loved it. We also got him a little dog that sings songs, and says really sweet things like "I love you, you're wonderful, and give me a hug." (I need one of those haha). We also started the Elf on a Shelf tradition this year and that was super fun for Max. We were a little bummed to miss out on the Mesa Temple lights this year. But once we are more familiar with the "happenings" here, we will be able to start new traditions.
I am so thankful for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and the unconditional love they have for me and my imperfections. It is such a consoling feeling to know that I am loved unconditionally, and they we all are love unconditionally. We live in a world of judgements and unrelealistic expectations, and it is so comforting to know that we are not alone at those moments. I am so thankful for the birth of Christ and what his life meant for us.
