Updates

I have met so many awesome people here....artists, photographers, farmers, entrepreneurs, outdoorsman, loggers, awesome cowgirls that help us figure out how to take care of goats, neighbors that come over to tell us our dog is running down the road, people that feel like long time friends that invite you over for huckleberry & rhubarb pie and let your kid try their zip line that is in their backyard.....Feeling tired but very lucky today.....Love this little gem in the Northwest! Tomorrow, Max starts 2nd grade...Oh my Heavens. I am a little stressed to turn him over to people I don't know....but luckily Jason met his teacher on accident. Jason went our to bid a job on a roof and it just happened to be Max's teacher he will have for second grade...How awesome is that? I am nervous for Max, but I know he will love school. I just have a great feeling about this school and the people that work there. I have also heard awesome stories from locals about his school. I will miss him, but he really needs school not only for academic reasons, but he needs to meet some new friends out here. We have a little neighbor boy that stops in to play every once in a while, and that has been fun for Max. I have promised Max that his life will be more eventful once we are not a one car family. We are hoping to find Jason a truck soon in order to make all of our lives easier! Eli is getting so big, and things have been so busy, I haven't posted 9 month pictures...I will. So many things have happened. Jason and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary, Eli turned 9 months, I turned 37, and Max is growing up way to fast and is quite the little micro manager. I love how protective he is over Eli....I think I have him a little freaked out about germs and the baby though. Anytime anyone tries to touch Eli he tells them "don't touch our baby!" It makes me laugh every time. And to be honest, I don't mind that he does it...lol, especially since we are entering flu season. We got goats....need to post picture of those too. There are six of them, and we bought them at the county fair. We got an awesome deal from the coolest cowgirl lady, and she promised we could have her on speed dial in order to properly take care of them. Jason has been working at a new job and it seems to be promising. I am still working at the lodge, but am still looking for an adjunct teaching position. I am in my second class in my doctoral program. I will complete that class next week and start my third class. I cannot believe I have this opportunity! Everyday, I thank Heavenly Father for allow me to have the knowledge that I need in order to accomplish this goal...I know I couldn't do this without him, or anything for that matter. I hope to have time to post pics soon. Posting pictures is a little more time consuming these days than it used to be....The internet options out here are not as fast as Arizona. But the scenery is worth the trade off of slower internet.
