This month has flown by way too fast! It seems like time flies way too fast out here because we are so busy trying to get ready for winter. We need to get fire wood stacked(need to buy chain saw). I got a chain saw for my birthday, but it doesn't work....so, we have to get one that actually works to cut our firewood...hopefully it will dry in time. We also have so many house improvements to do to make sure the house is air tight...and many more things. My to-do list gets bigger everyday. For my birthday we went to the local farmer's market (which is something I wanted to do since we got here), to the splash pad, and out to dinner at a local restaurant and had a great burger with pie. It was a nice relaxing day, and nice to get out and meet more of the locals. We bought some raspberry rhubarb jam, 2 huge squash, and we had the best hucklerry tarts....mmmm so yummy. I don't really feel as old as I am, guess that's a good sign. Jason and Max made me an awesome birthday cake with homemade ice cream, and I always love their homemade cards.
