The Move: first post.
So I never posted about the move....What a long week that was. However, we saw a lot of cool country and drove literally cross country...an opportunity you don't often get to experience. The boys were awesome during the trip. It was amazing how well our travels went....tender mercies. The first day we drove from Arizona to Kanab, Utah. The road to Kanab was beautiful we saw the Vermillion Cliffs and the Cliff dwellers on the way. The scenery was endless and beautiful. I found myself wanting to stop a couple of times, but remembered how many miles were ahead of us, so I just enjoyed most of the view as we drove on through. This is a picture from Arizona as we were getting ready to leave. Jason took the time to wire some very "special" horns to the front.....Maybe they brought us good luck, I don't know. I also have to note that about ten missionaries and some people from our Ironwood ward showed up and helped us load the truck....it was awesome because we had way too much stuff...so much that we rented the largest Penske truck and a trailer for me to pull behind the pilot. We had to leave some things behind as well, but at that point we didn't mind too much we just wanted to get going. I am so thankful for all the great people that helped us move....so awesome! When we arrived in Kanab, we were able to visit with Jason's brother Jeff and then we had an early bedtime! More moving stories to come...
